Trade Show Participation – How Important Can It Be?
Many industries have conferences commonly known as trade shows. These professional gatherings can be held anytime, anywhere and highlight any good, service, business or idea.
Tourism and travel industries often have meetings in desired locations such as sunny San Diego, California among many domestic and international cities.
SnowJam San Diego is an annual gathering of winter resorts happening at the Del Mar Fairgrounds this weekend. Mountain High, an Oster and Associates client, serves as the title sponsor for this event. Winter resorts from around the region have onsite booths that allow their representatives to talk with attendees about skiing and snowboarding opportunities as well sell passes for the highly anticipated 2015-16 winter season. Ski and snowboard manufacturers will be selling equipment along with winter clothing companies and cold gear retailers among others.
Visitors will be able to purchase greatly discounted clothing and gear before they hit the slopes this season. Historically, SnowJam has served as a springboard for the arrival of the winter season.
In addition to getting the Mountain High brand name out to the San Diego market as a sponsor, the Wrightwood, California resort stands to gain new customers at SnowJam. All guests that purchase a SnowJam daily admission will also receive a free single day lift ticket to Mountain High that can be used this season. Mountain High has become synonymous with SnowJam’s San Diego show. The importance of that association can’t be understated.

Coordinating station appearances and meetings with local media provides a multi-pronged approach to the resort’s participation in SnowJam San Diego.
