PR (public relations) is an effective way to share a specific message with a targeted audience to achieve a desired result. Sounds simple enough, but how exactly is that accomplished?
There are a number of strategies and tactics that can be implemented to make this happen but an element of PR that can’t be overlooked is industry recognition. Securing earned media interviews and appearing in news stories are all valuable to building the credibility of a company, brand or leader. It’s easy to get so focused on those tasks that actively seeking recognition for your organization falls by the wayside.
Receiving an industry award or speaking at a major convention or trade show can be just as important to raising your brand awareness with trade and consumer audiences. This often requires extensive behind-the-scenes planning and dedicated follow through to make these beneficial opportunities possible.
At Oster and Associates, our clients have benefitted greatly from a well-rounded approach to PR which includes winning industry awards and being featured speakers at major events where they can share their valuable expertise within their respective professions.
